1. Layers AI & Canvas AI (Beta) — NEW
Layers AI and Canvas AI are Beta features and require a connected phone and an active internet connection. AI-generated responses, watch faces and other content may be sometimes inaccurate, incomplete, or produce unexpected or lower-quality results, and are not a substitute for professional advice. Features, availability and performance may change during the Beta.
Note: Your voice prompt data is not stored, and is never used to train our AI models.

2. GPS & Location Accuracy
GPS accuracy varies with your surroundings (for example tall buildings, tree cover or being indoors), network conditions and how recently assisted-GPS (AGPS) data was updated. The device is not intended as a sole means of navigation and should not be relied on in safety-critical situations. The GPS is only available for outdoor workouts.

3. Sync Limitations
While AGPS data is syncing, some other transfers, Canvas AI watch-face generation, music downloads, watch-face downloads and firmware updates are paused. If you start one of these during a sync, you'll see a prompt on the app or watch. Try again once the sync completes.

4. Data Accuracy
All health and activity data are estimates. Accuracy can be significantly affected by:

• The fit of the watch on your wrist (snug but not tight).
• Your individual movements and activity intensity.
• Tattoos on the wrist, which can interfere with the heart rate sensor's light absorption.

5. Music Storage
Watch storage is allocated up to 32MB for music in MP3 format, holding approximately 15-20 songs depending on file size (based on an average of 1.5-2MB per song). Available for Android users only — iOS does not support saving music directly on the smartwatch.

6. Not a Medical Device
Anarc 2 smartwatch and its health and wellness features including heart rate, SpO2 (blood oxygen), stress and sleep are intended for general fitness and wellness only. The device is not a medical device and is not certified for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, monitoring or prevention of any disease or medical condition. Do not rely on it for medical decisions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for any health concern or before beginning an exercise programme.
All health and activity metrics are estimates and may not be accurate. Accuracy can be affected by, among other things: how the watch fits (wear it snug but not tight, about a finger's width above the wrist bone); your movement and the type and intensity of activity; individual skin characteristics; and tattoos or markings on the wrist, which can interfere with the optical (light-based) sensor.

PPG Sensor Behaviour: The heart-rate sensor uses light (PPG) to estimate readings. It may occasionally register a reading when placed on non-human surfaces with reflective or skin-like textures. This is normal optical-sensor behaviour, not a defect.

Women's Health tracking: Cycle tracking and predictions are estimates based on the information you enter. They are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or contraception guidance, and must not be relied on for family planning or to prevent pregnancy.

AQI / Weather App: Air-quality and weather information is provided by third-party sources and reflects the nearest monitoring station. Actual conditions may differ, and values may not exactly match those shown on your phone or in other apps.

7. Notifications and alerts
Notifications and alerts depend on the watch remaining connected to a paired phone over Bluetooth, and on the notification and background permissions granted on your phone. On certain phone models, the phone’s system may automatically restrict or make the Layers app inactive while running in the background. This may happen even when the app appears in the background app list. When the app is restricted or inactive, notifications and other data intended to be synced or sent to your smartwatch may be delayed or not delivered.

8. SOS / emergency
The SOS feature requires the watch to be connected to a paired phone that has network/cellular signal and location services enabled. It is not a substitute for calling your local emergency services directly and may not work in all situations or locations.

9. Battery and charging
Battery life varies with usage, active features (for example GPS, always-on display, Layers AI and notifications) and brightness. Charge only with the charger supplied in the box, using other chargers may damage the device and is not covered by warranty.

10. Music storage
Approximately (32 MB) of watch storage is available for on-device music  roughly 15–20 songs depending on file size (average ~1.5–2 MB per song). On-device music is available for Android users only; iOS does not support saving music directly on the watch. Actual capacity depends on the files you store.

11. Water resistance (IP68)
The watch is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, tested under controlled laboratory conditions to IEC 60529 (1.5 m of fresh water for 30 minutes). IP68 covers static immersion in fresh water under laboratory conditions. It does not make the watch suitable for swimming, diving or water sports, or for high-pressure or high-velocity water (for example showers or water jets), hot water, steam, saunas, or salt, chlorinated or soapy water. Do not operate the buttons underwater. Water resistance is not permanent and can diminish over time with normal wear, ageing or damage; reduced water resistance is not covered by warranty.

12. Skin contact and irritation
Straps are made from hypoallergenic materials, but skin irritation can result from trapped moisture, sweat or wearing the watch too tightly for long periods. Keep your wrist and the back of the watch clean and dry, loosen the strap periodically, and discontinue use and consult a dermatologist if irritation or a rash persists.

13. Third-party app sync
Data shown in third-party apps such as Apple Health or Strava may not exactly match the watch or the Anarc app, because those platforms combine data from your phone and other sensors. This is expected.

14. Compatibility
Requires a compatible smartphone running Android 9.0 or later, or iOS 13.0 or later. Some features require the latest version of the Anarc app and watch firmware and may not be available on all phones or in all regions.

15. Disposal, regulatory marks and trademarks
This product contains electronic components and a rechargeable battery. Do not dispose of it with household waste; dispose of it in line with India's e-waste and battery-waste rules (see the crossed-out wheelie-bin mark on the product and packaging). Apple Health, Strava, Android, iOS, Bluetooth and other names are trademarks of their respective owners; their use does not imply endorsement.
