Out-of-Warranty Repair Policy
We understand how frustrating it can be when a product develops an issue outside the warranty period. Our goal is to be transparent, fair, and helpful. You’ll always know what to expect before making a decision.
Warranty Coverage
- Layers Smartwatch: 12-month warranty

Accessories (straps, chargers): 6-month warranty
Warranty coverage starts from the date of purchase.
1. Inspection & Diagnostics
To understand what’s going wrong and whether a repair is possible, every out-of-warranty product goes through a detailed inspection and diagnostic check.

A one-time inspection fee of Rs. 199/- is applicable before diagnostics begin.

This fee covers inspection, testing, and handling of the product.

Since this process involves time and technical effort, the inspection fee is non-refundable, even if you decide not to proceed with the repair.
This ensures we can give you an accurate and honest assessment.
2. Before We Begin

The inspection fee needs to be paid before we start diagnostics.

If you choose not to go ahead with the repair after receiving the estimate, we’ll return your product in the same condition it was received.
No pressure, this step is only about helping you make an informed choice.
3. Clear Repair Estimate
Once diagnostics are complete, we’ll share a detailed repair estimate, including:

Cost of parts (if required)

Labour charges
-
Estimated turnaround time (TAT)
There are no hidden charges & you’ll see the full cost upfront before deciding.
4. Your Approval Comes First

We’ll only proceed with the repair after you approve the estimate.

If you decide not to approve it, the product will be returned without repair.
You stay in control at every step.
5. Turnaround Time

Typical repair time is 10–12 business days after approval and payment.

In some cases, timelines may vary due to product condition or parts availability.

If there’s any delay, we’ll always keep you informed in advance.
6. Payments

Repair charges are payable after estimate approval and before repair begins.

Products can only be repaired or released once payment is confirmed.
7. Service Warranty
If mentioned in your repair estimate, replaced parts or workmanship may come with a 30-day service warranty, starting from the date the repaired product is returned to you.
This service warranty covers only the specific repair or part replaced and does not apply to:

Physical or liquid damage

Normal wear and tear
-
Any unauthorised repairs or modifications done after service
This warranty applies only once the original product warranty has expired.
8. Repair Feasibility & Alternative Options
While we always try our best to repair every product, there may be rare cases where repair isn’t possible. For example, if:

The product is beyond economical repair

Required parts are unavailable
-
The device has been previously tampered with or repaired by an unauthorised service provider
If this happens, we won’t leave you stuck. Where possible, we may offer you the option to purchase a refurbished replacement unit at a discounted price, subject to availability, so you can still get back to using a working device.
